What are examples of permitted uses?

Permitted uses include websites, social media, digital ads, print ads, presentations, marketing materials, and editorial publications.

What are examples of prohibited uses?

Prohibited uses include:

  • Using Content in logos or trademarks

  • Reselling or redistributing Content as standalone files

  • Using Content in merchandise or print-on-demand products

  • Using Content in NFTs or blockchain-based products

  • Using Content for AI training or machine learning

Contributors

Who can become a Contributor?

Do Contributors retain ownership of their Content?

Yes. Contributors retain ownership but grant Color Space broad licensing rights.

How do Contributors get paid?

Contributors earn royalties based on licensed downloads, subject to Contributor Agreement terms.

A general 60/40 split is applied to each sale of content. 60% to the Contributor and 40% to Color Space.

Does Color Space verify Contributor Content?

Color Space performs review and moderation but does not guarantee that Content includes all necessary releases.


Model and Property Releases

What is a model release?

A model release is a legal document signed by a person depicted in Content, permitting commercial use of their likeness.

Does Color Space guarantee releases?

No. You are responsible for determining whether releases are required for your intended use.


AI, Machine Learning, and Automated Use

Can I use Color Space Content to train AI models?

No. Use of Content for artificial intelligence, machine learning, neural networks, or training datasets is strictly prohibited.

Can I use Content in generative AI outputs?
