Account Deletion and Data Removal Policy

At Color Space, we respect your right to privacy and control over your personal information. This policy explains how you can delete your account and what happens to your data once deletion is requested.
1. Requesting Account Deletion
You may request the deletion of your Color Space account at any time by:

Sending an email to info@colorspace.co.za with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”, or

Use the Delete Account option available in your profile settings (if applicable).
To protect your account, we may verify your identity before processing the request.
2. What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When your deletion request is confirmed:

Your personal information (name, email, profile details, and stored payment data) will be permanently removed from our systems.

All your uploaded images, posts, and listings will be removed from public view on the Website.

Any pending payouts or transactions will be processed before final deletion.

Certain non-personal or aggregated data (such as total sales statistics) may be retained for business, legal, or accounting purposes, but will no longer be linked to you personally.
3. Data Retention Exceptions
We may retain limited information if:

There are outstanding financial transactions or disputes.

We are legally required to keep records for tax, fraud prevention, or auditing purposes.

The data is part of an anonymised system backups that will be automatically overwritten after a set retention period.
4. Reinstating a Deleted Account
Once your account is permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered.
If you wish to use Color Space again, you will need to create a new account.
