Contributor Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in becoming a contributor on Color Space! To maintain the quality and integrity of our platform, we have established the following guidelines for submitting your creative content.

Please read and adhere to these guidelines when submitting your work:

1. Content Quality:

  • Submit high-quality content that meets industry standards. Images should be sharp, well-composed, and properly exposed.
  • Ensure your content is free from noise, artifacts, or excessive post-processing that may degrade the overall quality.

2. Originality and Copyright:

  • Only submit content that you have created yourself and for which you hold the copyright.
  • Do not submit content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others, including trademarks, logos, copyrighted artwork, or recognisable people without appropriate model releases.

3. Technical Requirements:

  • Images should be in JPEG or PNG format.
  • Upload images with a minimum resolution of 6 megapixels (3000 pixels on the longest side).
  • Submit files that are free from watermarks, logos, or any other identifying marks.

4. Subject Matter:

  • Submit content that is relevant and appealing to our customer base.
  • We welcome a wide range of subjects, including but not limited to landscapes, nature, architecture, people, travel, food, business, and technology.
  • Ensure your content is suitable for commercial use and avoids offensive, explicit, or controversial themes.

5. Metadata and Keywords:

  • Provide accurate and descriptive metadata for your images, including titles, descriptions, and relevant keywords.
  • Use specific and relevant keywords to help customers find your images easily.

6. Model and Property Releases:

  • If your content includes recognizable people or private property, ensure you have obtained appropriate model and/or property releases.
  • Model releases are required for images featuring identifiable individuals, including both adults and minors.

7. Image Editing and Manipulation:

  • Minor adjustments and enhancements to your images are allowed, such as color correction, cropping, and basic retouching.
  • Do not submit heavily manipulated or composite images that misrepresent the original scene or subject.

8. Content Exclusivity:

  • You are not required to provide exclusive rights to Color Space for your submitted content. You are free to distribute and license your content through other platforms as well.

9. Review Process:

  • All submissions will go through a review process to ensure they meet our quality standards and guidelines.
  • The review process may take some time, and not all submitted content will be accepted.
